Chiku is an indie street dog who lives in Dadri region of Uttar Pradesh near a shop on the highway since the day dog was born as stated by the shopkeeper.
The shopkeeper feeds dogs in that location and takes care of dog Chiku as well. But a week ago Dog ‘Chiku’ was hit by a vehicle on the highway. When shopkeeper got to know about the dog he immediately informed Nishabd shelter which is near to highway. Our Nishabd medical team went on location and brought the dog at a shelter.
The Nishabd team took the dog to a safe place and fed the dog but the dog ‘Chiku’ wasn’t eating anything. The dog was not even able to stand. Nishabd medical team took the dog for a Doctor visit where the dog’s x-ray was done in which it was found that the dog’s spine was broken. A dog is now in a condition of paralysis but Nishabd team is putting it’s best efforts to get this dog back on paws.Dog ‘Chiku’ will be at Nishabd till complete recovery and it is a mission for Nishabd team to return Chiku’s happy life back. Dog ‘Chiku’ needs your support in terms of prayers that can build a dog’s confidence to gain recovery as its condition is becoming critical day by day so please pray for the dog’s speedy recovery. In addition to this, we need your support in terms of funds to give the treatment without any delay. We are raising Rs. 10,000 for Chiku’s treatment expenses.
